Between trains

Summer 2010

What if you woke up lost and naked in a train station?

Someplace yet nowhere, on the edge of waiting? Where a coat drops out of nowhere, a juicy apple bursts out of a pocket where there was none, a man swims in language without a body, a ukulele chorus supports a lonesome ballad, two clowns try to outdo each other’s appetites, and words slip into song then evaporate. Welcome to the Bardo.

Come follow Wendell on her adventure through this way station between here and there, between self and other, dream and reality. Encounter
a kaleidoscope of people--humorous, hungry, greedy, or generous-- who may or may not help her get on the right train.

What happens in-between
where private tales are made spectacular could depend on where you are sitting.

Join Gas & Electric Arts’
fearless ensemble of physical performers as they guide you through the multi-sensory realms of possibility, brimming with humor, song, and surprising twists and turns. Come to where the ordinary and extraordinary fluidly mingle.
